Prime Time is a 2021 Polish drama thriller film directed by Jakub Piątek and written with Łukasz Czapski in his directorial debut. The film portrays a man who on the night of New Year’s Eve 1999 enters the building of national television, takes two hostages and wants to address the country during the live stream.
What would you do if you had the attention of the whole country? To promote the movie we’ve created an interactive installation in the center of Warsaw. The installation was made of 100 tv sets from the 90s and by interacting with it you could “break” the prime time stream and appear on the screens of the old TVs.
